  • Hi Saagh, As far as I know, letting agents administration fees are pretty universal and do not just refer to students or any other particular demographic. What they are, essentially, is a fee that a letting agent will charge to take a property off the market while they process your application for a property. They are not the landlord most of the time, and this can be the way these companies make their money. A student admin fee might refer to the way it is dealt with because it's a shared home most likely, and there is a chance that various members of an applicant group might drop out at any given time in the process. It is always best to simply ask the agent themselves though, as they can give you a breakdown of what the charges are in reference to. Many thanks, Scott
