  • Judging solely on the style of the property, it looks as though this is was probably constructed between 1920 and 1939. You can check the Land Certificate to find when the property was first registered. If it was registered as a transfer in title of an existing building, then you may struggle to identify the build year exactly without seeing the original unregistered Title Deeds, but if was registered from new then you should be able to trace the original build date precisely. Hope this helps.

  • Hello there, Talk to the surveyor who had a look at your property when you first bought it. Hopefully they might know something. If not try to find the old survey report to your property. If that option doesn't work either, talk with the local property experts and property experts. Based on the design and interior of your home they should be able to give you a date.

  • Hey Erudd, If you have lost the deeds to your property you should inquire with the land registry to get a new copy of them. You can also check with the solicitor you used when buying the property, the may have kept a copy. You should be able to tell when the property was built with this information! Hope that helps. Jonathan :-)
