  • Hi Colinettw, it depends on when a property was purchased to look at whether or not their prices have gone up, as all houses in the UK have seen their values fall ever since the market experienced something of a crash with the economic downturn in 2007. In the area of Essex you are looking at though, prices have dropped in the last few years repeatedly. At the moment, the average price for a house in Bradwell-on-Sea sits at £271,925. This is a fall of 11.83 per cent in the last five years and also a decrease in value of 1.13 per cent when compared to a year ago. However, it is worth noting that the last year has been one of broad stabilising for the housing market, and this fall is pretty much bang on the one per cent depreciation seen across the whole of the country. You can see more in depth results for your chosen area by following this link Thanks, Scott
