    Lived in Southport most of my life in comparison to other areas around its well populated busy vibrant town with lots to do. I would recomend Southport to anyone especialy families.

    We live in the Birkdale area of Southport, the village is lovely, there is a victorian style pageant every year and the shopkeepers dress to that era. There is the annual flower show, air show, Woodvale Rally and annual international fireworks competition, Southport Lord Street is a lovely victorian shopping street and most weekends there is live music ie, battle of the bands competitions outside of the Town Hall, Southport has Splash World, the pier, Botanic Gardens, Hesketh Park and the fun fair and bicycles can be hired to explore all of the attractions, there is also a vibrant night life, I would reccomend Southport to young and old alike. Oh, and the property prices are very attractive.
