Is it a safe area?

I have lived in Stone, Staffordshire for 11 years. The people are friendly. The town has the usual highstreet shops. There are around 15 places to eat which include restaurants of differing style and taste. The town is idealy placed for travelling - pleasure or business. Three airports are located within an hours drive, There is a local train service or travel into Stafford and it's an about 75 minutes by train to London. Many towns and cities can be reached from Stafford station. What did I forget? For the family there are good dental practices, good doctors, great schools and all important a choice of good vets for the 'other' members of the family. With a canal and river running through the town and loads of countryside around there is no shortage of interesting walks. Add in the street markets and it is a great place to live. It lies between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent around 7 miles in each direction. That means that when the two Stone based supermarkets and the highstreet do not have what you want its easy enough to pop off to a large town or City. There are sports facilities, parks, and garden centres in town or close by. I could go on but I think by now you get the picture.

We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area.
You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page.
We hope this helps.
