Park street vs Bricket wood? which one has better community feel?

Having not lived in either it might be disingenuous of me to speculate, however I've known people that have lived in those areas and it seems to me that both are great locations for families, and some people tend not to favour them due to the fact that it's a little harder to get into the central areas of either St Albans or Watford, but there's still plenty of buses, the rail stations and the proximity of Chiswell Green, Radlett, London Colney all have a bearing on both areas. In my personal opinion, I'd go for Park Street as the snob in me would suggest it's on the 'better' side of the M25, but both areas have some fantastic properties with a great deal more space for your money than you might find were you to venture further north.
