All flats are leasehold. If you mean how hard is it to sell a flat that depends on location. A major problem at the moment is repossessions which are destroying the flat market due to their low prices. Why buy a flat for £80,000 when you can get a house for £60,000?

I have just sold a ground floor maisonette in Martlesham - I had it remodled; new kitchen new bathroom new floors left all the furniture - had the gardens landscaped - it sold very quickly for a give away price! Was I stupid - maybe but you know it's one less mortgage and I have made someone very happy. If you want to sell - make the place look good - good paint inside and out - have the grass cut - spend money on plants, add double-glazing, basically, make the place look as good as a new home - one to be proud of...You shouldn't have any trouble then at getting it off your hands...And yes, it was of course a Leasehold property. It sold in June 2011.
