Sunbury is a bit of a hidden gem, and accordingly it is filling up with people moving out of mucky Twickenham and pricey Teddington. (Loved both areas in their time, but this is something different) Lots of families move here because of good local state school (compare Teddington School and Bishop Wand or Thamesmead) there are a number of lovely riverside pubs, local cricket and rugby teams, London irish have their ground off the venue and there is a sense of calm. Highly recommended and your money goes a lot further than in other surrounding areas. Look on the river side of the A316 known as Lower Sunbury
