Areas to live in Maidstone

What are the most desirable areas to live in Maidstone & district & what are the ones to avoid ? We are selling our home in Swansea & considering moving to Maidstone/Medway area in 2013 to buy a home there to be nearer our sons in East London.

  One of the most desirable areas to live is Loose approx 2 miles south of Maidstone town centre.
