What's it like to live in Tain?

What are the pros and cons of living here? What are the local amenities like?

  Even though I am almost four years late you may still be checking this, if you are I tip my hat to your patience! Tain is a nice enough place and it doesn't have very many con's, the only major ones that come to mind are: -Some children may litter during lunch as there is a large Academy with a pupil roll of ~500. -Not much to do at night, only a few pubs and no nightclubs. -Friday nights can be hectic. A lot of teenagers so you may receive some minor hassle, however it is rare. There is so many pros, which could be seen by just taking a drive to here for one day, just to see what there is!
