Is Paddock Wood a nice place to live for families and commuters?

I dont mind if it's not as nice as it's neighbouring village I just want to know its ok. Thanks

  • Stay in the area for a long weekend to gage your own opinion. The council website might help you though.

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website for that area which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

  • It's becoming quite a thriving small town. The local amenities mean that you never need to travel far should you forget that little something that just happened to slip your list!! Main line station to London or coast. We have lived here for the past ten years (having moved from a nice neighbouring small village) and have never had any cause for concern. Traffic can be a bit heavy at the normal times i.e rush hour, school run but generally no busier than most small towns.
