What's it like to live in Turriff?

How does it compare to the areas around? Is it a safe area?

  • Turriff is a safe area with little to no crime, it is a rural town that has many shops, banks, and petrol stations. It has a few restaurants and pubs too if you like that scene. There is an academy and primary schools, plus nursery for weenie ones. Personally if i were buying a house there I would avoid the area next to the meat/slaughter house due to the smell. The surrounding areas to Turriff such as King Edward, New Byth, Crudie and Cumminestown, Auchterless, Fisherford are smaller but homely, they have good schools As for living in it, it's ok, there is the usual scooter brigade and cruisers at night time. They don't cause too much disturbance. Hope this helps.
