How do i find out if a property is leasehold?

  • Hi, If the property is for sale, it would be best to contact the agent who is dealing with the sale of the property who will be able to advise of the tenure of the property, If they don't hold the information, they will be able to find out on your behalf. We hope this helps.

  • You can also find out about the lease via land registry website, however the estate agent selling it really should have that information ready prior to viewing.
