What will happen if I buy a 125 year leasehold property after 125 years?

  • If the lease has not been extended in the meantime (recommended), the rights to the property on the land would revert to the leaseholder.

  • The lease expires and the ownership of the property reverts to the Landlord from the property was leased, 125 years prevously.
