What's it like to live in Oldbury?

Is it an area on the up? What are the pros and cons of living here?

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are, this will also give you a guide to house prices and movement of the market within the area. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.

  • Hello, I have lived in oldbury all my life, as with all areas there are good parts and not so great parts, it lies pretty much in between Birmingham City centre and Wolverhampton city centre as well as having lots of transport links by way of train stations, busses ect. The town centre itself isn't that big but does have a retail park and a sainsburys Sandwell council house is also situated in olbury town centre. I have always been happy in the area myself and plan to stay local.
