Is Tarring Road near main Worthing station a good area?

Went to view a property today on Tarring Road, which is a very long road. We viewed a property near the central train station and with a goodish size courtyard garden which is south facing (very important to us). The road is very busy which didn't bother us too much, but is Tarring road an ok area? This wouldn't be our forever home, so from a local perspective would you say it's a good investment?

  • Hello Ladybird, I'm actually a local in Worthing, lived here for many, many years! Tarring Road gets busy but gets quieter at the West end (the posher bit!!). It is busy with starter priced homes of £180,000ish up to bigger ones at £300,000+ and is convenient for town, station, shops and schools. Some properties were affected by the Teville Stream underground so check for any cracks etc but not a common issue these days so all should be well. Hope that helps you out and get in touch if you want any more advice about Worthing, as I said I am a local! Regards, Jeff :-)
