What are a landlords obligations concerning woodworm?

  • As a landlord you would be interested in getting this treated as soon as possible so the next time the tenants move out he should have the area sprayed and left for a day or so then the new tenants can move in.

  • If the problem is allowed to progress then costs will be much higher to sort out later. Better to sort it now than wait. If the tenant is asking the question, then the landlord is under no obligation to rectify the issue at a time to suit the tenant, unless it is causing health and safety issues...
