  • I'd recommend you use the "find a property" feature in the Land Registry website. Give it the house number and postcode and it will offer you the choice to purchase the title register and title plan. You don't need to buy those, but under your address there will be a field called "Tenure" this will either mention Leasehold or Freehold.
