What's it like to live in Winchester?

Is it a safe area? Are the people friendly?

  It's not what it was..lived here for 22 years. Some parts are rough..too many students. Some parts are very expensive. Even ex-council houses go for over £225 to landlords. I wouldn't say it's not safe, however locals will tell you there's a big drug problem.
