What's it like to live in Upton, Wirral?
We're a retired couple and want to relocate to Wirral to be in or near Heswall and are looking for hints on the best places in Wirral to buy a property. We want quiet, on edge of an estate by woods or open land for dog walking.

Upton is okay, but Willaston (where I live) is much much better for dog walks as it is located right on the Wirral Way. I have 2 dogs and they love it here. It's handy for trains to Liverpool or Chester as Hooton station is nearby. I too am retired and there's lots to do here - about 27 clubs and societies. I moved from a 4 bedroomed Willaston house to a two bedroomed Willaston house and have now realised that I really need 3 bedrooms as one of my children has moved back in - so if you are interested in buying, please let me know!

Hi Joeypoppy, thank you very much for you kind response to my question. I hadn't thought about Willaston, to be honest. Unfortunately though, we too need minimum of 3 bedrooms ourselves as we both have children and grandchildren. Have you put yours' up for sale yet? We're putting ours here in Norfolk, where we live at present, up tomorrow on one of the Self Sale websites. I've looked to see how to go about placing it with zoopla but can't find anything on selling your property. Good luck and thanks again for the information. Kind regards
