What kind of people live around here? What are the local amenities like?

  Like it a lot. Reasonabe nightlife/pubs/restaurants, no hassle, close to countryside, near enough to places like Reading if you really need to shop. And it's not that expensive compared to Reading & other outlying areas. Bloody awful train service into London though. Overall one of the nicer places I have lived around this area, would recommend.
