  • Woodford Green is a great area to live. It is a very pleasant place with lots of good shops and restaurants.(mainly in South Woodford). Schools are generally well rated -in particular Churchfields. It is only around 40 mins by tube to the West. Woodford also borders onto Epping Forest which is great for walking and cycling. It is also about 15-20 mins by bus to Ilford or Walthamstow shopping centres. Crime is relatively low and (for me) the area has a safe feel about it.. Many people on our estate (Laings) have been here for many years - Access to the M11 is alsoeasy. The only downside is the North Circular road which cuts through the area dividing Woodford from South Woodford. Pollution from this is high and its also noisy, so this part of the area is best avoided if possible. Otherwise the area is very highly recommended.

  • I would suggest that you look at the local authorities’ website or police.gov to see what the crime statistics etc for this area are. You can also look at the local tourist board website which gives you an up to date overview of the area. I would also visit the area and ask some locals.

  • Hi, We would suggest that you get in touch with local estate agents in order to get some background about the area. You can search for agents using the ‘find agents’ tab on the top of the Zoopla Page. We hope this helps.
