It will very much depend on your own personal circumstance. There are FTB mortgages out there, but the better % rate deals do require a decent deposit of atleast 10% of not 15%. The Yorkshire have recently contacted my company to advise me of the 95% FTB mortgage although the interest rate fixed at 6.99% for 3 years seems harsh in comparison to the Base Rate. Talk to a Financial adviser who has the whole of market choice with mortgages, then get a second opinion and even ask your own bank! Most importantly dont bite off more than you can chew!
