First time applying for a mortgage.

I am a first time buyer, I don't know how to apply for mortgage plus terms and conditions of applying for a mortgage. Who can give me the best advice? as there are plenty stories about tricking of people.

  Try going to an Independent Financial advisor and do remember that they are regulated by the FSA and have strict guidelines on to give best advice. Always speak to you bank as well as looking on the internet for the latest lenders and rates.
