What are the chances of getting a small mortgage?

We are moving from France, hopefully to Isle of Wight, with around £100,000 for buying a house/flat. We both have good index linked pensions & our joint income is around £35,000 per year at the moment. We can get a credit reference from our bank in France.

    All lenders are interested in is security and getting their monthly payments. If you can demonstrate both of those I don't think you would have a problem. Speak to a mortgage broker

    I agree with above. You only need prove you can afford the repayments.
