Thinking of selling renting back my home .

Do you know if North Herts Homes do it? I don't know who to trust, I don't want to be ripped off.

  • Any business is in business to make money, so you will be finaincially worse off selling to a company and renting it back, you will not get market value and you may have to pay a premium rate rental, you do have the luxury of staying in your home. But typlically these companies will only offer you 75% of the open market value of your home.

  • You can do this but as Mark states there is a 'catch'. The company will often only pay 70/75% of the market value of your home and then charge an above market rent. If you need a 'quick sale' try a local auctioneer.
