Are 95% mortgages making a comeback?
I am currently saving for a deposit to buy my first home. I am hoping to have 5% of a £96,000 house by January 2011. Is it likely that I will be able to buy in early 2011 with my 5% deposit.

It is highly unlikely 95% mortgages will be available any time soon, even of they do I would imagine the rate would be very expensive.

In a word yes, If you look on certain search engines this will confirm there are now a hand full of lenders now doing 95%. This will change weekly, but there should be a lender out there to suit your needs. Always speak to your bank first and then an Independent Mortgage Advisor to see what is the best route for you to take.
