The property I like is in a desirable area but it has a felt roof. Will it be difficult to get a mortgage on it?
I would like to buy a property in a very desirable area in pinner but the town house has a felt roof. My broker has informed me that it may be difficult to get a mortgage on this property. To what extent is this true? If it is only partly true, do you think it is wise to buy a town house with a felt roof?

It might be harder to get a mortgage, try speaking to an independant broker. I'm sure it isn't impossible.
