Do we rent or continue to buy?

My partner and I are 48 and 53, both in full time employment. We owe the same mortgage as we did 5yrs ago due to us keep getting 0% intrest. We live in a lovely 2 bed flat. We are both desperate for a garden, should we now rent at our age or try and get a bigger mortgage?

  • The only person that can answer that question is you!!! What are you comfortable with? By have a property which is mortgaged you are in control of when if evert you decide to move, there are however the positives and negatives of renting.

  • I'm sure you know the pro's and con's of renting so you just need to write them down and weigh everything up. If you are both working in secure jobs is there any need to free capital to give you a better quality of life? Thinking of questions like that will help you
