My property has been repossessed and sold for less then market value. Can I protest the difference?
My property was repossessed and sold for less than I believe to be value, in 2006 I had a valuation done by a surveyor for remortgage purpose and came in at 115k. My lender sold the property at 50k. I don't have a copy of the valuation and didn't take out the re-mortgage offer. Property in question is 23 Cook street OL16 2LZ. Can I challenge the lender as they are billing me with a 20k bill for shortfall?
