What can I expect from market in next 5 years?
I am reluctant to sell for sentimental reasons but will have to for more money, is the market going to improve in next 5 years? I don't want to part with my house because of where it is! But might have to as the wife want to move on. Oh it is dilema.

It really depends on what part of the country you are in, the type of property you have and your motivation for selling it.

An impossible question to answer unfortunately. The house market depends upon the economy and even the top economists can't predict where we will be in five years. For example not many people could have predicted the credit crunch.
