How can you reduce stamp duty?
I am buying property for £250,000 (£249,950), anyway to reduce stamp duty?

At £250,000 you will only pay 1% £2500.00 anything over you will pay 3% so if you buy at £250,001 then the cost will be £7500.03 Keep the price down below £250,000

Further to the answer below - if you are a first time buyer then at a purchase price of £250,000 no Stamp Duty is payable.
