Does a Cash Buy mean a Discount??
If you buy a house in cash and have the money ready to buy outright is it more likley that the seller or agent will discount the asking price? Or does this not make a difference?

It will make a difference depending upon the needs of the vendor/seller. The agent cannot discount the asking price, only the vendor can do that. The benefits of being able to buy a property in cash is that you can complete quickly and this will particularly benefit vendors whose property has been on the market for some time or vendors who want to move to their next property as soon as possible.
