Is it worth my while re-newing front door and installing central heating?

  If your windows are rotten and paint flaking .. yes. if they are OK ..no .. spend the money on new carpets and redecoration. Spending £4k on these will add £5k to £10k if you declutter at the same time. cental heating .. what do you have now? That will help me give you my opinion

  I would say yes as 1st impressions count when trying to sell your house. Don't go overboard on what you spend but getting looking the best you can it will add Price and make the house more attractive to buyers. Of course if the rest of the house needs attention then this will need to be looked at as well. A good spring clean and de clutter will go along way to making a big difference to how buyers feel about offering.
