Adding value to my property

Would I add more value to my property by laying carpets or putting down wooden floors?

  • Nice quality neutral carpets or good quality wood floors both add value, they tend to be personal choice. Some prefer carpet, some wood flooring. Avoid nasty cheap laminate flooring and go for quality of either carpet or wood would be my advice.

  • I agree with the above answer entirely, especially about the cheap laminate. Neutral decor, good kitchen & bathroom and you shouldn't go wrong.

  • I think either would improve the value as both would look nice and new, as it is a question of personal taste some will prefer one more than the other. As you are the one living there put down what you prefer.
