  • You could try the planning department! Quote the freedom of information act for all correspondence.

  • Your local planning department should have an online service which will give you recent planning history for an address in their region. It's very easy, usually. If there is something specific that you are looking for and the online records don't go back far enough, you are entitled to visit your planning department and look at the records. You don't need to quote the freedom of information act at them- they are quite used to people needing the information.
