I have recenty put a new bath rooom suite in, would this put the value of the house up?

I have recenty put in a new shower unit and hand basin/toilet and tiled all my bath room, added a new towel rail, got old bath taken out etc, would this add to the value of my house? Many thanks.

  • It will most definitely add value to your home, especially if the old bathroom was dated. New kitchens and bathrooms appeal to buyers who don't want to do too much work on a house.

  • Yes it does put value of the house up. A home with just one bathroom has less value, when it comes time to resell. if your home has room for an additional bathroom to be added that would be a plus.

  • Assuming that this work was done to as nice standard then you easily get your money back when you eventually sell your properyty
