  • Had a driveway and garden wall then 3 weeks later had my kitchen and bathroom done, no complaints and would say happy over all, would recommend as a previous customer.

  • Possibly a little late now but my mother ( who is in her late 70's) is experiencing major problems with this firm.

  • The main office number is unobtainable and our letters are being ignored. Would be interested to know if there are others in the same position?

  • I have tried to get hold of them today as I have a problem with a door they fitted, but I cannot get hold of them. Have you had any joy?

  • We continue to have major problems with our door and it will need to be replaced. Our last contact was on 9th July. I've received no response to 3 letters of complaint, the main office phone is still unobtainable. Trading standards can't help and consumer direct suggest writing. Companies House confirmed they are still trading. Our next step is the small claims court. I understand another customer has been contacted by a company that has taken over from Midland ....

  • My mother has a considerable amount of work that remains unfinished ( but unfortunately paid for up front...) by this set of clowns and as with Rachael she had extreme difficulty in getting any response. That was until 2 weeks ago whe out of the blue she had a call from the firm who 'had taken over as they have gone bust'. This was obvously a cold call gone wrong as they did not know of my mothers previous experience with them. They did offer to send a surveyor round to check things out that afternoon. It was a no show. Then this week she had another call offering to complete the work for a charge and would even issue her with her guarantee for her conservatory, again for a charge ( around £300 I believe). As she had already paid for this she declined their nice offer. They hung up. Unfortunately the phone no. was withheld although on both occaisions she is confident the callers sounded very familiar. I will post an update if we get any more contact but I am in the process of finishing the work for her as I feel although she has been had she will have little chance of getting anything back.

  • No surprise to find that Midland Home Improvements UK Ltd filed first notification in the London Gazette for striking off Companies House register earlier this month - No chance now of getting our door fixed or monies returned - so much for a 10 year guarantee!
