  • Probably but only modestly (1/2 - 2/3 cost of construction as a rough rule, depending on location etc etc). Saleability is likely to be improved. Don't do it to sell your property for a higher value, do it because you want a conservatory!

  • As above, if for you, go ahead. But if for re-sale…conservatories are much like kitchens, they are a personal choice. Some are nice, some not so nice. If selling, leave the conservatory out. Your buyers might have different views on what they want. From viewing properties recently, we discount any which have a badly constructed conservatory or one which swamps the garden. It is a personal choice which buyers might like to make themselves.
