Buying a 3 bedroom, with a 2 contemporary bathroom and a fitted kitchen
I want to know if buying to remodel to my taste is better than buying a move in property?

It all depends on price and if you want the upheaval of having to do the work on moving into a property. If a similar property was for sale without the new bathrooms and kitchen, but was 20k cheaper, you could argue that choosing what you would like is better and you might even have money left over for other things. It is a personal choice buying a property which needs no work, or one which you can put your own stamp on. I would say the price is what you need to look at. Make sure you are not paying over the odds for a nice looking kitchen and bathrooms, which you could perhaps pay a fraction for.
