Can I extend my house without planning permission?
I know I will need building regs approval and need to serve a party wall act etc.. but under the new planning laws, can I extend without planning? Thank you.

Yes! But there are restrictions on what you can do. Your local council will probably have on-line guides on what is called permitted develoment (ie buildings which will not need planning consent).
