What is the average value I could add with a loft conversion?
Hi all, Have a semi detached linked/terraced property, three bed, two floor. Thinking of a loft conversion while I'm modernising the property. However what kind of value could I hope to add to a £115,000-£125,000 value property by getting a loft conversion with a small ensuite?

I think a really good loft conversion, adding an extra bedroom and an en-suite could add as much as 20% to the value of your home, 15% minimum. It is more lucrative to convert a loft than to extend on, if you have the roof space that is.
