  • Im not sure what you mean by communal heating? Do you mean a communal boiler in the basement which heats all the property’s in the block? Could you be more specific?

  • Yes, I mean communal boiler in the basement which heats all the flats in the block. The heating fuel is fuel oil.

  • You could very possibly get a brand new biomass boiler to replace it. We are doing this on a block of flats on the south coast. If it is of interest to you let me know.
