Could I add value to my home
My house has four en suite bedrooms on the first floor. I was wondering if I could add value to my house by converting them into three bigger ensuites on the first floor. I would then convert the loft into the fourth en suite bedroom. Would this add value to my house?

Larger room sizes are usually a major plus for families. But it all depends on how much the conversion will cost. I would advise getting a good local estate agent or two around to value your property and look at the plans for the conversion. Once you get a few quotes for the work, you should have a rough idea of whether you will make money, make a loss or merely break even. In the short term it could be risky, but in the long term, the idea sounds really good.

No! Leave the four as they are, but do the loft. 5-bed houses fetch more than 4-bed houses. And the cost will be a lot less.
