Extending a property

I am looking to extend our existing kitchen which is currently roughly 2.5 wide metres by 4 long. I am looking to knock down an existing shoddy extension and replacing it to make a large kitchen dinner of around 9metres by 4. This would also involve moving the external kitchen wall with the boiler, sink and window. I was looking to find out how much this would coat roughly and if it was worth it in terms of adding value to the property? Laila

  • I think it would be best to contact three reputable builders in your area for quotes. The site I have added for you may be of some use in getting an idea of costs. A large kitchen diner will be very appealing to buyers when you come to sell, it might not add instant value, but will do in the long run. Best of luck.
