How much to offer over the valuation price for a house in Aberdeen?
Does any body have recent experience of buying a house in Aberdeen? How much to offer over the valuation price for a house in Aberdeen and suburbs. My solicitor is suggesting me to offer circa 15% over the valuation price because there are 10 note of interest and closing date is very close. It is 2 bed ground floor flat of double storey building located on North Anderson Drive. Up to what percentage of the valuation price is viable to pay if I plan to live in the property for roughly five year? Because the lender will only lend me on the valuation price so I’ll be in negative equity straight away. How many years roughly I need to come on breakeven if I pay significantly over the valuation price? How accurate is the house price included in home buyer report? Many thanks in advance
