Why is my house under priced?

I would like to know why zoopla has under priced my house by such a significant amount

  • Hi maxwolf, There are any number of reasons your home is underpriced on the Zoopla current values page. The first thing to note, however, is that these are estimates as opposed to being a hard and fast valuation. They are more often than not based on the last price it was sold for. What this will mean is that if you have made any changes or significant upgrades since the last time the house was bought, these may not have been taken into account yet, and so your house will seem somewhat underpriced.   • If the last sale price of your home is comparatively low for that year i.e you got a good deal when you bought, then the Zoopla calculation will simply do a yearly percentage markup from that price
