How can two bungalows side by side be worth such different values?
I have an interest in Tramore, Ableton Lane Severn Beach BS35 4PR. This property is in good condition but needs updating. It has recently been sold for £150k. The property right next door is smaller in reasonable condition and gated but less indoor space and much smaller garden yet sold for £230k. All other bungalows same size similar condition possibly more up-to-date have sold at around the 200k mark. Could a probate valuation be this distorted?

There are many factors that can make Values look distorted but if a buyer has been found and it goes through then yes it is worth it to that specific buyer. Maybe they were happy to pay over the odds for a specific reason? Maybe the one next door was in very bad condition. My advice is find a good Estate Agent in Bristol and ask them the specifics as they will know.
