How up to date is the actual price sold for houses ? Where does the data come from ?

  • Hi, I believe it´s from the Land Registry. For a more definitive estimate you may want to use the link below (to the Land Registry) - click on "UK HPI full file" (about a third down) and download the Excel spreadsheet. You can look for specific areas of Leeds and the North East (CTRL + F) and see the patterns over the years. Note there´s a three month time lag on the data collected.
