I asked this question yesterday but can't see any response... How up to date are the actual sold prices on this website ? Where does the data come from ?

  • Price Paid Data come from the Land Registry. It has been a legal requirement to record this since 1995. The published data set is intended as the base for the calculation of the UK House Price Index it therefore excludes certain transactions not at market value which are not included in the index. It can take up to three months for sold prices to be recorded and published by the Land Registry. It may take longer for derivatives such as this site to update.
